I had ordered the Stone & Bug Deflector for my 2006 Avalanche pickup. The shipping was fast, the installation was very simple because it used the existing holes in the hood from the factory. Class A item!

The holes matched up to the HOnda factory hood and installation was fairly simple. Deflector is fairly rugged and flexible.

Protects from bugs, but not so much from the stones. Looks great and VERY easy to install.

I bought mine from AutoSport about two years ago for my Windstar Van. After I installed them I swung by the dealership where I bought my Winnie. The salesman said that he wished that they would have thought to install them before I bought it because they made it look sharp. I was glad they didn't because they may have decided to charge more. I think they really do increase the value of a vehicle. Installation was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I am a disabled older man so everybody else should have few problems installing one. Does it deflect bugs and rocks?? It does not deflect all of them but I do have far fewer bugs on the windshield and my Windstar has a large one. The good thing about it is that I do not have all those bug and rock strikes on the hood. It works 100% there. It also seems to hold up well to rock strikes. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.
