This goes on easily and looks great until the vehicle gets washed and the dull black returns. You have to use it after every wash.

Thanks for the feedback. We recommend removing armor-all, etc. with a good degreaser like 409 before application. Also, harsh soaps such as Auto Wash will remove it as well. This preparation will allow a much better longevity of the Forever Black Trim Renewer. The bumpers and trim on my 04 Ford F150 look fantastic thanks to this product. It can be a little messy, so I taped off each area before I applied the product. The applicator is similar to a liquid shoe polish applicator. When you apply the product, it's important that you apply it as evenly as possible. After I applied the product, I waited a few minutes and then wiped the area with a clean cotton cloth. The product has held up through 3 car washes so far. When I have some more information on durability, I'll post another review.
