| | For over 40 years, Flex-a-lite has been breaking ground on cooling technology for cars and trucks. The first plastic heavy duty fans for trucks came from Flex-a-lite in 1968, followed by the first plastic truck fans and first injection molded truck fans. In 1978, Flex-a-lite developed the first electric engine cooling fan, something that has been a design staple for all makes and models since then. While the company has branched into other non-automotive products and non-cooling products (such as polycarbonate windows for the sport compact market), their focus remains cooling products, with global distribution, manufacturing and marketing.
