Description: This ingenious device aims a bright red laser beam on your hood or dashboard to tell you exactly when you've reached your pre-selected parking "sweet spot." You'll know where to park every time you pull in--without worrying about costly garage mishaps. A motion sensor turns the laser on and off automatically. Plug it into any AC outlet (there's usually one on your garage door opener) or use battery power. Installs in minutes using included hardware.

Available in single laser for a one car garage or a double laser for a two car garage
Had a single laser unit that worked years till it eventually stayed on, dimmed and finally failed. Have the dual laser unit and very pleased. Beats dodging a tennis ball or barrier type signs. A bit of a pia at initial aiming, since you can't always get the ladder in place for adjustment when the car is parked. Depends on mount location, of course.. YMMVLoads of fun kidding about SWAT teams when friends notice a red dot on their shirt :-)
It seems cheaply made and lights popped when moved too far. Also, for something to be run along garage ceiling to plug in, cord should have been four feet longer as hanging cord with converter to extension is difficult. But, it works and is helpful
This is my second unit, the first lasted almost ten years untill one of the laser units began to dim, making it difficult to see the "spot" it threw. It does however, work exactly as advertised., making it easy to park in exactly the same place every time! I have come to rely on it, which is why I bought a replacement.
Almost works. Lasers stays on for about 5 seconds - not enough time to be effective. The garage door opening or a person walking in the garage activate the laser and constant - human - movement keeps it lit. However, car movement DOES NOT keep the laser activated. Thought that is what it was for.Have integrated it into my security system but not real usefol as a parkng guide.

Thanks for the feedback. The laser should have a factory preset of 20-25 seconds. It sounds like your unit is defective. You are well within the warranty and we will be happy to replace it if you want. Installed this about 1 year ago. Has performed flawlessly since then. With inexpensive electronics I always worry about cheap construction. Although this device is far from feeling like it's carved from a block of granite, all the plastic parts held up well to the installation and adjustments once installed. It supposedly has a motion detector that turns it off once you leave the garage. I must be very sensitive because it appears to me to be always on.
Excellent way to make sure the car is pulled into the garage far enough. Great gift idea. Everyone who sees this in our garage wants one. We added a small adhesive sticker onto our dash board so we know where the laser light need to hit. Works perfectly.
