Each one contains Halotron 1, an electrically non-conductive "clean" extinguishing agent that rapidly turns into a gas. Halotron 1 is EPA- and FAA-approved, and has passed extensive testing by Underwriters Laboratories. Safe for parts and wiring, it attacks flammable liquid fires quickly and safely, with no danger of electric shock and no messy residue to clean up. It also stores longer than powder-based agents, so your extinguisher will be there when you need it.
Available in 1.4 lb. or 2.5 lb. sizes, rechargeable HalGuard extinguishers feature an easy-to-read pressure gauge, all-metal valve construction, high-strength steel cylinder. Perfect for your car, RV, garage, workshop or home. Choose classic Red finish for maximum visibility or corrosion-resistant Chrome. The 1.4 lb. model measures 10" x 3.6" x 2.6" and the 2.5 lb. model measures 14.8" x 5.0" x 3.0". Made in USA.
