This item filled my needs and did an excellent job. I got the one that has 3 sockets with the battery level LEDS that show you how much battery drain you are using. I used my GPS device and a DC travel cooler and was still looking good only because of the LED reading. I would recommend this item who travels.
Very handy adapter, as it has 4 outlets rather than the usual 3. I needed 4 outlets to power the GPS, two different cell phones and the Satellite Radio receiver all at the same time. Works great. Also has two attachment tabs that fold under if not used making it either a permanent placement or portable.
