Good idea, but the hoses are too short. I have an Escalade and while it works, if the air stems are not aligned properly, I have to move the vehicle foward or back so the hoses will connect. 50 cents for 2 feet more hose would fix the problem. I bot two and the one for my daughters MDX is too short also.

Unless you have a compact car with really long stems, this product is a waste of money.Wives and girlfriends this will be a disappointing gift.

I tried this on 3 auto's-model years of 1998, 2007, 2009. The item worked on the 1998 although the fill rate was very, very slow despite using a large compressor. I could have lived w that. On the 2 newer auto's, the unit would not work. The valve stems on the newer cars seem shorter than the older cars, so the chucks on the end of unit's hose would not fit far enough on to the vale stem to depress the valve in the valve stem. I am returning the unit. Cust. svc. was unaware of issue (although I now see a review w same issue) and very accomodating.

The AutoSport Balancing Tire Pressure Gauge was on my must have list for some time. I saw the need and the convenience of the product. A pressure gauge, filler and relief valve built into one easy to use package. Balancing and filling two tires at a time promised to make the chore complete in half the time. It was presented to me for my Birthday this year and I was excited to try it. After some hassling I got it to work. Disappointed, I thought it might be my technique. So recently I tried it again with basically the same results. One, one of the couplers wouldnt fit snug enough and air escaped and I had to push hard and force the snap ring to lock. I can sort of live with that. The next issue was filling. My goodness Im glad I only had to fill a couple psi to balance out the tires. To do all four tires it took several minutes of applied pressure with the compressor assemble. Bear in mind that this was a commercial grade settable unit. Works like a wiz with a nail gun and filling tires singly. I suspect the problem may lie in the hose valve not completely opening the valve stem. These are rigid stems and not the flexible rubber ones. It was slow compared to other products that are similar. I have a 12 passenger van and inflating the rear tires was difficult due to the hose assemble being too short. The hoses could be two feet longer for this purpose and vehicle. In short, the tool is a good idea but needs improvement in my opinion.

This gauge works great. It cuts out all of the hit and miss of trying to pressure balance four tires. You can pressure balance the two front tires or the two rear tires at the same time. Since I use nitrogen fill instead of compressed air in my tires, this saves cost and hassles. The only down side to the Balancing Tire Pressure Gauge is that the hoses could be a bit longer, maybe six inches or so, because sometimes depending on where the tire valve stems are situated, it can be hard to attach the hoses without moving the car again. Hoses that were a little longer would help.
