Why keep a car tire inflator on board in your car? Plenty of reasons! You can use a tire inflator to top off slightly-low tires when there’s no gas station in sight. You can use a car tire inflator to limp in to a tire repair place if you’ve got a tire that’s developed a slow leak. They are also handy as a pool inflator, bike inflator, or any number of other practical uses. And last but not least – a car tire inflator is a must if you’ve got a flat, you go to change the tire and then find, to your disgust, that your spare is too low to use.

A 12-volt-powered car tire inflator is the best choice for carrying on board. Powered through the car’s cigarette lighter, a 12v tire inflator is a little compressor, just like you’d use for an air ratchet or paint spray rig; the ones that we carry also include a 19’ air hose to easily reach every tire, a full set of attachments, and an LED light so you can see what you’re doing at night.

We also carry a combination jump starter/car tire inflator that delivers 900 amps of cranking power for dead batteries, as well as a work light and a compressor for inflation. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of roadside readiness!
