The black plate frame is as nice as the previous ones I had from Griot's, which were about 10 years old. These look like they will last that long as well. Nicely packaged with appropriate hardware.

I was VERY impressed with these license plate frames. These frames are top quality from the packaging, hardware parts, instructions and the fit and finish. I was able to install the frames in just a few minutes, they look great, and get noticed by car-buff friends.Highly recommendedyes they cost more, but the value is there for the price.

I've purchased several of these and they are now my reference standard. Great quality frame for the money and it comes with a variety screws that can be used to secure it the virtually any car. I used the rubber bumpers on one car but didn't need them on the other. They're a nice touch to protect the paint behind the plate. My state doesn't allow any type of cover over the license plate, so I can't comment on the durability of the clear cover.
This is a solid and well-finished plate frame. The edge is narrow enough for the State name and registration stickers to be plainly visible. It protects the plate and does not distract from the look of your car. I am completely satisfied.
Love the product, and I order them for all my cars and my employees who get new cars as a gift. However, most recently the covers are coming with a variety caps that cover the screws which seems to be a quality assurance issue. Just sayin... otherwise like the product
