Who is Weathertech?
WeatherTech’s parent company, MacNeil Automototive, is headquartered in Bolingsbrook, Illinois, where their product development, engineering, and distribution all take place. In addition to the WeatherTech brand, MacNeil is a supplier of all four of the main German luxury brands.

WeatherTech floor mats all go through extensive research and product development and are reverse-engineered for vehicle geometry and design details. To make WeatherTech products, MacNeil’s engineers use sophisticated Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) technologies. Using these tools they draw up a 3D representation of a product, turn it into a prototype, and fine-tune the product’s fit until tooling can be set up for the manufacturing process. The end result is floor mats, deflectors, and cargo liners that have benefited from cutting-edge technology both in terms of design and manufacture.
